NIGEL COOKE - ABERTHOL
Nigel was born in Ghana and grew up in South Oxfordshire. He attended the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and co-founded The Little Theatre Company in Bristol.
He has worked extensively in the theatre nationally and internationally at the RSC, the RNT, the Royal Court, the West End and most recently at the Royal Exchange playing Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird - for which he was nominated by The Manchester Evening News as Best Actor.
He has recently worked on Wolf Hall (BBC), the feature film Spectral , Father Brown (BBC) and currently the long running, popular series New Tricks (BBC).
